Digital Skills Training That Teachers Actually Use
Digital literacy is now a professional requirement for Kenyan teachers — from typing exams and managing records to using AI tools and delivering media-rich lessons. Koritech runs practical, hands-on training designed by educators, for educators, on-site at your school or online.
Training built around real staffroom needs
Generic computer courses teach teachers things they never use. Our training starts from actual teacher tasks: preparing exams and schemes of work, managing marks and records, creating professional documents, communicating with parents, and finding quality teaching resources online.
Sessions are hands-on from the first minute — every participant works on their own device or a school computer, producing real documents they will use in their teaching, not just watching demonstrations.
AI tools for teachers — used responsibly
AI is transforming how teachers prepare lessons, generate practice questions and differentiate materials for learners. We train teachers to use AI tools productively and responsibly: how to prompt effectively, verify curriculum alignment, adapt outputs to their learners, and maintain professional standards.
We also cover digital safety for both teachers and learners: protecting personal data, recognising scams, managing school social media responsibly, and guiding learners on safe internet use.
Audio-visual and classroom technology integration
For schools investing in projectors, smart screens and digital content, we provide setup support and — more importantly — training on teaching with them. Research consistently shows audio-visual media improves learner engagement and understanding when integrated purposefully into lessons, and our training focuses on exactly that: practical, media-rich lesson delivery, not technology for its own sake.
Frequently Asked Questions
Questions schools ask us
Do you train at our school or do teachers travel?
We come to you. Most training happens on-site at your school, often during staff development days or holidays. We also run online sessions and can train clusters of neighbouring schools together to share costs.
What levels do you cater for — some of our staff are complete beginners?
We group participants by skill level, from absolute beginners learning basic computer operations to advanced users learning AI tools and digital assessment systems. Nobody is left behind and nobody is bored.
Do teachers receive certificates?
Yes. Participants receive certificates of completion from Koritech Learning Systems, useful for professional development records.
Can training be combined with equipment setup?
Yes. If your school is installing projectors or smart screens, we can handle the integration and train your staff in the same visit — technology only pays off when teachers are confident using it.
